World Touring Car Championship-driver James Thompson will drive selected rounds in the Danish Touring Car Championship this year.
While the Swedish Touring Car Championship loose their Mercedes-cars on the grid, the Danish Touring Car Championship gains one Mercedes.

Team Essex leaves the Danish Touring Car Championship for next year. Touring Car racing is to be switched for GT Racing and Le Mans.
Danish Touring Car Championship driver David Falch has decided to retire. The DTC finale of 2007 became his last race.
