Luke Sargeant confirms TCR UK return

Luke Sargeant will make a return to the TCR UK series at Donington Park, having missed the opening round of the campaign at the same venue.

Sargeant will be at the wheel of an Audi RS3 LMS TCR Gen2 run by Vannin Motorsport with support from Audi Sport Customer Racing this season, with Sargeant keen to try and replicate the podium finishes he scored at Silverstone last year.

That marked the first time Sargeant had made it onto the podium having switched into the Audi mid-way through the year.

“Finishing off 2024 with my first podium finishes in TCR UK has given me the drive to see how much further I can move up the field,” he said. “Having support from Audi also means that I can work harder on the car to unlock the sweetspot and the pace, as I look to add further silverware to the cabinet this year.

“I also have a further incentive to make my return to TCR UK this year. Now that plans have been finalised for the FIA TCR World Ranking Final to take place in Italy in November, I plan to move as far up the ranking as possible so I can compete in this end-of-year event. The only way is up from here.”
