TCR South America entry continues to grow
The grid for the 2025 TCR South America season continues to take shape with both the Squadra Martino and W2 Pro GP teams announcing additions to their line-ups for the upcoming campaign.
Squadra Martino – now running under the Honda YPF Racing banner – had already confirmed Nelson Piquet Jr. and Argentine Matías Cravero as its first two drivers for the season ahead but has now added Leonel and Tiago Pernia to its line-up.
Tiago Pernia raced with the team last season whilst his father will be racing one of its Honda Civics for the first time.
“It’s a pleasure to be working with the Honda YPF Racing team again,” Tiago Pernia said following a test in Cordoba.
“The tests were very productive, and we were able to gather valuable information for adapting to the car. We’re looking forward to the start of the season.”
W2 Pro GP meanwhile will continue to run the experienced figure of Raphael Reis, with the Brazilian once again at the wheel of a Cupra Leon VZ TCR.
