JH Racing adds second car for Donington Park opener

JH Racing has announced that it will field two cars for the opening weekend of the 2025 TCR UK season with Rod McGovern at the wheel of a second Hyundai i30 N.

McGovern will make his TCR debut alongside Callum Newsham on what will also be his first outing at Donington Park, with much of his three decades of racing coming in Ireland.

McGovern is a multiple title winner in the Ireland Dunlop Supercars Championship and has also won the SEAT Super Cup Ireland championship in the past.

“I’m excited to race on the amazing Donington Park circuit this weekend,” he said. “It’s one of the few venues left in the UK that I haven’t had the chance to race on, so I’m looking forward to a good weekend.

“I’ve followed TCR UK over the past few seasons, and I’m well aware of how good JH Racing is, so joining them and driving a Hyundai is something I can’t wait to start with.

“As long as I have a good first weekend in the championship, I’ll be back for more.”
