Adam Shepherd joins Capture Motorsport for 2025 TCR UK season

Adam Shepherd is going to drive for Capture Motorsport in the 2025 TCR UK season, joining already confirmed team-mates Will Beech and Greg Saunders in a third Cupra Leon Competición.

“It was a late decision to be racing again this year, but we are very much looking forward to 2025 and working with Capture Motorsport. We are aiming to take the overall TCR UK 2025 title with as many wins and pole positions as possible,” said Shepherd.

“I’d like to say a big thanks to Capture Motorsport and the opportunity given to work together getting on the grid and showing what we can all do. I’m confident we will have a good season and will be working hard to bring the team, cars and drivers forwards and up to the front. I’d also like to thank Area Motorsport for the help over the last few years and the success we had together.”

The Brit finished fifth overall last year for Area Motorsport after a strong first part of the season where he claimed four wins from the first three race weekends, while the final two race race weekends saw him retiring from no less than five out of six heats.

“It’s great to have a driver of Adam’s calibre joining the team for 2025, working alongside both Will and Greg as all three drivers work to push the team forward on the TCR UK Grid,” said Capture Motorsport representative Leon Pegg.

“Having Adam on board means that we can support him in his efforts to try and claim that first TCR UK drivers title.”
