Gregory Saunders set for TCR UK debut with Capture Motorsport

Gregory Saunders is going to make his TCR UK debut this season with Capture Motorsport, driving a Cupra Leon Competicion.

“I’m really eager to get my TCR UK season underway and excited to be moving up to the championship this year. Having driven the older Cupra in Endurance events with Capture Motorsport, the chance to race in TCR UK with the Gen2 Cupra was one I couldn’t pass up,” said Saunders.

“I’ve done some testing in the older Cupra, however I’ll be getting some seat time in soon with the Gen2 car and I can’t wait to learn more about the car. I love the excitement of TCR UK and I can’t wait to be on the grid, however I know that each weekend will be a new learning experience with the new car.”

Saunders comes from a background of bike racing and made his circuit racing debut in the 2022 Ford Focus Cup.

Last year saw him racing a Cupra TCR in the 750 Motor Club Roadsports and Enduro championships for Capture Motorsport, finishing second overall.
