Maximum Motorsport enters Lynk & Co for Stewart Lines
Maximum Motorsport with BSR is going to run a Lynk & Co 03 TCR for championship promotor Stewart Lines in the 2025 TCR UK season.
“It’s great to be working alongside Ben as his team expands their line-up in TCR UK this year, taking on the running of the Maximum Motorsport Lynk & Co 03 TCR,” said Lines.
“The Lynk & Co caused a stir when it was announced last year it would be making its debut in TCR UK and was one of the cars that drew the most attention. It’s great to see the brand returning for a second year in the championship.”
Lines will drive “most of the events” in 2025 as the team has announced that the car is available for other drivers.
Maximum Motorsport with BSR will also field a Cupra Leon Competicion for Mark Smith who drove an older Cupra TCR for the team last year.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have a second TCR car on the grid this season, with Stewart getting behind the wheel of his newly acquired Lynk & Co,” said team director Ben Sharpe.
“The car has already proven its pace with a win last year, and we’re busy getting it prepared for pre-season testing. It’s also exciting to work with a new brand, especially one that’s just around the corner from us at BSR. We can’t wait to get the program started.”
Lines’ entry makes it 12 so far confirmed cars for the 2025 TCR UK season, see the complete list here.
