Alistair Camp set for full-time TCR UK move

Alistair Camp has confirmed that he will compete in TCR UK on a full-time basis in 2025 after a number of outings in recent seasons.

Camp will once again team up with Area Motorsport to race a Hyundai i30 N TCR as he bids to add a TCR title to the Civic Cup crown he secured earlier in his career.

Having already taken a victory in the series at Donington Park on one of his previous appearances, Camp will look to challege for silverware during the season ahead and launch a championship challenge.

“After dipping my toe in the water on several occasions, I decided it was the perfect time to go all in and mount a full season entry in TCR UK,” he said. “I’ve always enjoyed each of my previous visits in the championship, where I have never been outside of the top ten.

“The recent pre-season test day showed me that I am competitive in a TCR car, and I left the test feeling really good about myself and the car.

“I always aim high each year, so I plan to visit the podium regularly whilst fighting at the front each weekend.”
