Dan Rowbottom signs new two-year deal at NAPA Racing UK
Dan Rowbottom will remain with NAPA Racing UK for at least the next two years in the British Touring Car Championship after signing a new deal.
The 36-year-old – who underwent heart surgery late last year – joins the already announced four-time champion Ash Sutton and Dan Cammish at the title-winning squad for the forthcoming 2025 campaign.
Rowbottom joined Alliance Racing from Team Dynamics in 2023 and has since claimed a solitary victory and six podiums in the Ford Focus ST. The 36-year-old has played a critical role in helping the squad win the Teams’ Championship over the past two years.
Last year proved to be one of frustration for the former Jack Sears Trophy title winner as his pace went largely unrewarded. Now fighting fit, Rowbottom is targeting the biggest prize in the UK motorsport.
“I’m fit, I’m healthy and I’m ready to win this championship,” said Rowbottom. “Last year we just didn’t get the results the team’s efforts deserved, but I know how hard we’ve all been working to ensure we can deliver in 2025.
“As many of you know I had some major heart surgery over the winter, thank you to all the fans who reached out and showed support, I really appreciate that. It has at times been overwhelming, the BTCC supporters are truly something else.
“To have NAPA Racing UK around me, along with some incredible sponsors, means that I’m confident we can be challenging at the front of the grid this year. See you all at Donington Park”.
