Cameron Waters claims another dominant Sydney Motorsport Park pole position

Tickford Racing driver Cameron Waters claimed a second consecutive dominant pole position for the second race of the 2025 Supercars Championship opener at Sydney Motorsport Park.

The Ford Mustang driver beat Triple Eight driver Broc Feeney (Chevrolet) by 0.2268 seconds, while the gaps between the drivers in positions two to four were really close.

Feeney beat Walkinshaw Andretti United’s Chaz Mostert (Ford) by 0.0367 seconds and Tickford Racing driver Thomas Randle (Ford) by 0.0376 seconds.

Reigning champion Will Brown was fifth fastest for Triple Eight, with Matthew Payne, Ryan Wood and Andre Heimgartner rounding off the top eight.

The second race of the season opener weekend starts at 19:50 local time/09:50 CET.
