TCR South America announces major prize package

Vicar, the largest promoter in South American motorsport, has announced the launch of a major new prize package that will include extensive financial support for the winner of the 2025 TCR South America season.

In total, a prize package worth almost R$ 5 million – equal to roughly €830,000 – will be split between the TCR champion as well as the title winner in the Turismo Nacional series, which Vicar also promotes.

Whoever emerges on top in the A division of Turismo Nacional will secure a place on the grid for the 2026 TCR South America season, valued at more than R$ 1.5 million.

The TCR South America title winner will be entitled to an entry into the 2026 Stock Car Pro Series worth R$ 2.5 million, including car, registration, tyres and additional support.

Salaries for the two drivers are also included within the package.

“The champion or runner-up of the Turismo Nacional “A” division will have the right to an exclusive spot with a team in TCR South America , a prize valued at R$ 1.5 million,” Lincoln Oliveira, CEO of Vicar, said.

“The TCR South America champion will have as a prize the right to compete in 2026 with a Stock Car Pro Series car, with a value equivalent to R$ 2.5 million in a team indicated by Vicar.

“If we add the monthly salaries of R$ 50,000 and R$ 15,000 for these two drivers, respectively, we reach the equivalent of almost R$ 5 million. We are very proud to be able to offer this incentive, something that was only possible with the support of our sponsors.”
