Jacob Wunderov confirms TCR Denmark continuation

Jacob Wunderov has confirmed that he will continue to race in TCR Denmark this year, having made his championship debut last year following a switch from historic racing.

The Dane drove a Honda for his own family-run team Wunderov Motorsport in 2024 to finish a solid fifth overall with a second place finish at Padborg Park as his best race result.

“The highlight was definitely second place at the Night Race at Padborg Park, but the Grand Prix Denmark was also a race that we still talk about. There we found the speed in the car and things really started to get fun,” said Wunderov.

“The ambition is to continue where we left off, both with the car and the crew, and then see if we can work our way further up the field. It looks like the competition will be a little tougher this year, so it’s probably not something that happens by itself.”

Wunderov will continue to race his Honda Civic Type R FK7 in 2025.
