Malte Ebdrup returns with Mascot Motorsport for 2025 TCR Denmark season

Malte Ebdrup will be back in TCR Denmark with Mascot Motorsport in 2025 following his spectacular crash that saw him out for the final half of the 2024 season.

“We are proud to continue our support for TCR Denmark and Malte Ebdrup in 2025. The series provides us with a unique opportunity to engage our sponsors in a valuable and unique way. We’re looking forward to a season filled with excitement and new highlights,” said team manager Henrik Lundgaard.

The 17-year-old suffered a brake failure during the warm up session at Ring Djursland which saw him leaving the track at 180 km/h and the race weekend being cancelled due to barrier damage.

Ebdrup escaped unharmed, but his Honda Civic Type R FK7 TCR was a write-off and he was forced to sit out the remaining two race weekends of 2024.

The Dane still finished eighth overall, having scored two victories earlier during the season.

The team is yet to confirm his team-mates for 2025.
