Fabricio Pezzini makes full-time TCR South America return

Fabricio Pezzini will make a full-time return to the TCR South America grid in 2025 after agreeing a deal to join forces with the W2 Pro GP team.

Pezzini first joined the grid in the latter stages of the 2021 season in a PMO Motorsport-run Lynk & Co 03 TCR scoring two wins, and then went on to secure the title in 2022 after seeing off the challenge of Juan Angel Rosso and Raphael Reis.

After splitting with PMO in early 2023, Pezzini has contested selected events in the series, including the 2024 season finale where he got behind the wheel of W2 Pro GP’s Cupra for the first time.

The new deal will now see him compete full-time in 2025 as he bids to take a second championship title.

“I am very happy and grateful, not to be joining W2 Pro GP but also because we all talked about returning to TCR South America,” he said.

“In Rosario I was able to get to know the car when I raced with the 2023 model, and then I tested the 2024 after the weekend. We had very good results and we were satisfied because I can see that it is a competitive car for next year. I expect us to be fighting towards the front.”
