BTCC grid expands for 2025 as TBL holders confirmed

Series organisers of the British Touring Car Championship have revealed the list of teams that have secured a TOCA BTCC Licence for next year, with the entry list set to grow to 24 cars.

Following the series’ entry approval deadline, a total of eight teams are listed to line up on the grid for the 2025 campaign.

After taking a sabbatical from the championship this past season, One Motorsport are poised to make a return next year with the Brackley-based squad having been allocated two licences.

Un-Limited Motorsport meanwhile will expand their operation to two cars, with MINI CHALLENGE race winner Max Hall having already been confirmed in one of their seats.

Reigning Manufacturer-Constructor champions West Surrey Racing are set to return to four full-time entries after running three BMWs for a majority of the 2024 season.

Elsewhere Alliance Racing, EXCELR8 Motorsport and Speedworks Motorsport all continue to hold four licences while Power Maxed Racing and Restart Racing hold two entries apiece.

The 2025 British Touring Car Championship kicks off at Donington Park on April 26-27 with the introduction of 100% sustainable fossil-free fuel and other key regulations set to be implemented.
