Marco Dahl set for full season assault in 2025

Marco Dahl is set to return to TCR Denmark for a full season assault in 2025 on the back of a part campaign in 2024.

The former motocross rider competed in a Peugeot 308TCR in the opening event of the campaign at Padborg Park before returning for the season finale at Jyllandsringen.

Dahl would score a best result of eighth on the final weekend of the season and now plans to take in a full programme in a car yet to be determined.

“The first race was all about surviving and gaining some experience,” he said. “I had basically never driven the car before, so it was a wild weekend.

“I was quite surprised at myself at the Jyllandsringen, where I qualified as fifth best and started just behind Mike Halder. But the level is high and intensive compared to long-distance races, so I overdid it a bit in my attempt to keep up with the best.

“The sprint format is cool, and the focus is much more on being present in the moment and going after the opening that is in front of you – no matter how small that opening is. I look forward to getting a lot more of that.”
