Rob Huff makes FIA TCR World Tour return for China and Macau
2012 touring car world champion Rob Huff will be back in the FIA TCR World Tour for the final two race weekends of the 2024 season in China and Macau.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be going back to Macau, and I’m also excited to see what we can do at Zhuzhou racing with TCR China, a series I also know very well,” said Huff.
The Brit will drive an Audi RS 3 LMS for Volcano Motorsport, having last raced in the championship in 2023 for Comtoyou Racing, finishing third overall.
“It’s good to be back in the TCR World Tour and especially now that it’s an FIA category. I know some of the team at Volcano Motorsport as they worked with me last year, and of course I know the car, having helped develop it,” said Huff.
“I’ve not raced in TCR for ten months, so going to Zhuzhou will be good preparation for Macau. The goal is clear, we’re looking for win number 12, and I’m delighted to be finishing the year at one of my favourite places in the world.”
Huff raced in the BTCC this year for Toyota Gazoo Racing UK and finished ninth overall.
