Jake Hill ready to give it his all in pursuit of maiden BTCC title
Jake Hill and West Surrey Racing are ready to give everything they’ve got at Brands Hatch this coming weekend as the BMW racer looks to lift the British Touring Car Championship title for the first time.
Hill heads to his home circuit in Kent holding a share of the standings lead after leaving Silverstone less than two weeks ago tied on points with rival Tom Ingram.
With seven wins and a further six podium finishes to his name this year, the rear-wheel-drive ace has stated that no stone will be left unturned in his pursuit of a maiden crown on Sunday.
“This is it,” said Hill. “Everything we’ve been working towards all season boils down to one weekend at my home circuit. Last year I came in behind in the points with nothing to lose by attacking.
“This time we’re tied on points at the top, so there’s more to lose with that tactic, but we’ll just have to see how the races pan out. I’m confident that the BMW is the right car to get the job done and I know that WSR will leave no stone unturned to try and win the Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ titles.
“We’ll give it our all and what will be, will be.”
