Kasper Jensen lands important final TCR Denmark pole of 2024

Points leader Kasper Jensen claimed an important final pole position for the first race of the Jyllandsringen season finale while title rival Mike Halder could only manage third.

The Mascot Motorsport driver set a fastest lap time of 1:14.150, beating team-mate Gustav Birch by a massive eight tenths of a second.

TPR Motorsport driver Halder was even further behind, claiming third with a margin of 1.217 seconds to pole.

Philip Lindberg made it four Hondas in the top four while Marco Dahl was fastest of the non-Honda drivers in fifth place behind the wheel of his Peugeot 308TCR, close to four seconds behind on the drying track.

Anton Bergström (Hyundai) was sixth fastest for Insight Racing while Lars Højris Nielsen (Hyundai) and Michael Markussen (Cupra) rounded off the top eight.

The first race of the season finale weekend starts at 11:30 CEST on Sunday.
