Jake Hill ready to give it his all in title race after crucial Silverstone win

Jake Hill has said he’s ready to give it his all in the race for the British Touring Car Championship after claiming a crucial win at Silverstone this past weekend.

The West Surrey Racing driver entered the weekend with a slender lead in the standings and duly made his mark around the Home of British Motor Racing as he claimed a trio of top five finishes, the second of which was a commanding victory in challenging conditions.

With Ingram’s main title rival Tom Ingram winning the remaining two contests on the National circuit, the BMW driver now heads into the final event of the season at Brands Hatch tied on points at the summit of the standings.

“Another fantastic year at Silverstone for us! Another win, a P2 and a P5 in the end,” said Hill. “A huge thank you to Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport for giving me the best car I could ask for this weekend.

“We knew it was going to be tough, but we came away with a lot more than we expected. We now to go Brands Hatch as the joint leaders of the BTCC and everything to play for!

“A massive thank you goes out to the incredible team around me for all their hard work and also for those who are behind me and support me all the way.

“It’s much appreciated and I will continue to fight as hard as I possibly can at my home race and give you all the title fight you want.”
