Levente Losonczy inherits Race 2 win as Junesung Park is penalised

Junesung Park has been stripped of his victory in the second TCR Italy race at Vallelunga following a penalty for his overtake on Levente Losonczy.

Hyundai driver Junesung Park made the move on Honda driver Losonczy for second place at Turn 12 on lap six with some contact, a move judged unfair by the stewards who handed him a post-race five-second penalty.

The penalty drops the Solite Indigo Racing driver from first to fifth place, handing victory to ALM Motorsport driver Losonczy, second place to Junui Park, third place to Nicola Baldan and fourth to Ruben Volt.

Baldan tops the standings on 319 points, Volt is second on 301 and Nicolas Taylor third on 284 ahead of the Monza season finale on October 25-27.
