Jake Hill and Tom Ingram tied on points heading into BTCC finale

Jake Hill and Tom Ingram will head into the British Touring Car Championship finale at Brands Hatch tied on points in less than two weeks’ time.

Coming off the back of a dramatic day of racing at Silverstone where both drivers enjoyed a share of the spoils, Hill and Ingram now head to the Kent venue dead-level in the chase for the biggest prize in UK motorsport.

Hill had looked on course to take a two-point lead into his home circuit however he was demoted one position in race three for an incident involving Dan Cammish.

With a total of 67 points up for grabs around the Grand Prix layout, a total of six drivers remain in mathematical contention for the title.

Reigning champion Ash Sutton will head into the final three races of the year in third place, 33 points off the summit, while the trio of Dan Cammish, Josh Cook and Colin Turkington remain in the mix.
