Aron Taylor-Smith, Mikey Doble and Dan Zelos excluded from qualifying

Aron Taylor-Smith, Mikey Doble and Dan Zelos have been disqualified from British Touring Car Championship qualifying at Silverstone.

Taylor-Smith had claimed his first pole position in almost a decade around the Home of British Motor Racing however he, along with Doble and Zelos, failed post-session ride height checks.

The exclusion now means that Tom Ingram will start Race 1 from pole position ahead of Colin Turkington and Josh Cook.

Subject to any appeals, the trio of Taylor-Smith, Doble and Zelos will start 18th, 19th and 20th respectively.
