Jimmy Eriksson goes below lap record in final Mantorp test

Jimmy Eriksson topped the final test of the STCC season finale at Mantorp Park, setting the so far fastest electric STCC lap time with 52.637.

The Tesla driver headed Cupra driver Axel Bengtsson who continues his strong form from the first test, trailing Eriksson by just 0.121 seconds.

Championship leader Tobias Brink, who topped the first test, was third fastest, four tenths from the top time.

Mikael Karlsson made it three Brink Motorsport drivers in the top four, six tenths from Eriksson, with reigning champion Robert Dahlgren in fifth, 0.644 seconds from first place.

Viktor Gustavsson was once again fastest of the Exion Racing Volkswagen drivers, rounding off the top six, 0.665 seconds from Eriksson.

Calle Bergman had a brief off towards the end of the session, returning to the pits with no visible damage.

Next up is qualifying, starting at 17:10 CEST.
