Tobias Brink beats Jimmy Eriksson by 0.079 seconds in final Knutstorp test

Brink Motorsport occupied the top three positions once again as the second STCC test at Ring Knutstorp was concluded, with points leader Tobias Brink beating team-mate Jimmy Eriksson by just 79 thousands of a second.

Mikael Karlsson, who was second fastest in the first test, was close to three tenths behind in third place.

Alexander Graff was once again the best non-Tesla driver in fourth place, 0.750 seconds slower than Brink behind the wheel of his Exion Racing prepared Volkswagen ID.3.

Axel Bengtsson took over from reigning champion and team-mate Robert Dahlgren as the fastest PWR Cupra driver in fifth place, one thousand of a second ahead of team-mate Anton Marklund and 0.945 seconds from the top spot.

Micke Bern claimed position seven for Exion Racing while Dahlgren only could manage eighth, 1.177 seconds from Brink.

Next up is qualifying for the first two out of four races this weekend, starting at 16:30 CEST.
