Viktor Gustavsson returns for Ring Knutstorp

Former karting world champion Viktor Gustavsson will be back with Exion Racing for this weekend’s STCC double header at Ring Knutstorp.

The Swede missed the previous round at Ljungbyhed due to a broken rib sustained during a karting event in Italy.

“It will be great fun to get behind the wheel of the STCC car with Exion Racing again!” said Gustavsson.

“It will be extra exciting to drive at Ring Knutstorp after the premiere on a city track in Gothenburg, meaning a completely new challenge to adapt the car and my driving for a traditional track.”

Gustavsson claimed two top ten finishes in the Gothenburg opener and will race a Volkswagen ID.3 alongside team-mate Alexander Graff this weekend which features a total of four races.

“We had a mixed debut, but the speed was still there despite the weather and there were a lot of positives to take away,” said Gustavsson.

“I still have a lot to learn as Gothenburg was basically my racing debut and the goal for this weekend is to get into the top. I feel ready for the weekend and will give it my all.”
