Junior Touring Car Team to run in 2025 TCR UK series

A new team run by Maximum Motorsport will contest the 2025 TCR UK season with a focus on bringing younger racers into the series.

As official Hyundai UK Distributor for TCR customers, Maximum will offer a subsidised drive in a Hyundai i30 N TCR car to a driver aged between 16-15, with the car being run under the Junior Touring Car Team banner.

The drive will be offered at a price of £85,000 + VAT and will include entry and testing, fuel, tyres, car rental and Hyundai engineering support.

“The next crop of touring car stars need to be found,” series promoter Stewart Lines said. “TCR UK is determined to play a part in this, starting in 2025 by making it financially viable for young drivers to be able to compete.”
