Nicolas Taylor to make TCR Europe debut in Spain

Nicolas Taylor will make his debut in TCR Europe next month when he joins the grid for the season finale in Valencia.

The Canadian teenager has been competing in TCR Italy this season at the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS and currently sits third in the points having scored podium finishes at Pergusa and Mugello.

The 18-year-old will be at the wheel of the same car for his debut in the European series, with the Audi once again being run by PMA Motorsport

“I’m really looking forward to joining TCR Europe in Valencia to give me a feel for what it’s like racing against even higher-level drivers to further develop my skills,” he said.

“TCR Italy is an aggressive championship with a large competitive grid, so it has been excellent for me, allowing me to quickly develop the skills necessary for success in touring car racing.

“I’m confident that the Italian series has been very helpful overall at preparing me to compete in TCR Europe. I have already been doing countless laps at Valencia on my simulator to get an understanding of the track.”
