Dennis Lind claims TCR Denmark pole on debut at Jyllandsringen
TPR Motorsport driver Dennis Lind claimed pole position on his TCR Denmark debut in qualifying for the first race of the weekend at Jyllandsringen.
The Dane beat title contender Mike Halder by 47 thousands of a second, with Honda drivers claiming the top seven places of the grid.
René Povlsen surprised by setting the third fastest time, half a second from pole, his best qualifying so far.
The RaceGroup duo of Malte Ebdrup and Kasper Jensen, who heads the standings, claimed grid positions four and five ahead of Philip Lindberg and Gustav Birch.
Michael Markussen was fastest of the non-Honda drivers in his family-team run Cupra León VZ TCR, nine tenths from pole in eighth place.
The first race of the weekend starts at 12:20 CEST on Sunday.
