Martin Andersen returns to TCR Denmark field

Martin Andersen will make a return to the TCR Denmark for the latest rounds of the season this weekend at Jyllandsringen with Insight Racing.

Andersen won the TCR Germany title back in 2022 and scored two podium finishes in a partial campaign in the Danish series last year.

He had been due to join the team to act as driver coach for Lars Hojris, but will instead join him on track in a Hyundai i30 N.

“It was actually the agreement that I should be with Lars at the weekend, but on the sidelines as driving coach,” he said. “Now I have a bit more current experience and input to pass on to him.

“I have always liked the Jyllandsringen, and I have also driven quite a few kilometers in such a Hyundai i30N. Even if there is a bit of rust that needs to be knocked off, I believe that I will be able to take part near the front end of the field.”
