Matthew Wilson, JWB rejoin TCR UK grid

Matthew Wilson and the JWB Motorsport team will return to the TCR UK grid for the next round of the season at Silverstone.

Wilson will be at the wheel of the Cupra Leon Competición TCR that he raced in the series last year, and which he has driven again this year in various endurance races.

Silverstone was the scene of Wilson’s maiden finish in TCR UK last season.

“Whilst I haven’t been sprint racing this year, I have kept myself competitive in the Cupra, getting involved in endurance racing and keeping my race skills sharp,” he said.

“I’m very excited to get back into TCR UK after taking my first podium at Silverstone last year.

“I must pass on my thanks to my family and my sponsors who have supported me in my journey this year and are fully behind me in returning to the Championship. I look forward to getting stuck back in and rewarding their support with some good results this weekend.”
