Santiago Urrutia heads Esteban Guerrieri by 0.003 in first Interlagos practice

Santiago Urrutia headed a close first free practice session of the FIA TCR World Tour weekend at Interlagos in Brazil, beating Honda driver Esteban Guerrieri by just three thousands of a second.

Ma Qing Hua and Yann Ehrlacher made it three Lynk & Cos in the top four, 0.053 and 0.493 seconds behind respectively.

GOAT Racing driver Dusan Borkovic set the fifth fastest time ahead of the top TCR South America driver in the form of Rafael Suzuki (Peugeot), seven tenths from the top time.

Swedish racer Thed Björk was seventh fastest while Honda driver Marco Butti rounded off the top eight.

The Hyundai drivers had a quiet start to the Brazilian weekend, with points leader Norbert Michelisz as their top driver in tenth place, 0.877 seconds from P1.

The second free practice session starts at 12:30 local time/17:30 CEST.
