Felipe Fernández handed pole after restored fastest lap

Honda driver Felipe Fernández has claimed his first TCR Europe pole position after his fastest lap time was restored, with stewards confirming that his lap had incorrectly been removed.

Another driver also getting his best lap time back is Franco Girolami (Cupra), putting him fourth on the grid for the first race.

The new grid has Felipe Fernández on pole, just 0.055 seconds ahead of ALM Motorsport driver Ruben Volt while Aurelien Comte will line up in third.

The first race starts at 18:20 CEST.
