Robert Dahlgren tops rain-interrupted second Ljungbyhed test

Cupra driver Robert Dahlgren topped the second STCC test of the weekend at Ljungbyhed, a test which was cut a couple of minutes short as a heavy rain shower hit the circuit.

Dahlgren set the so far fastest time of the weekend with 56.448, beating Tesla driver Mikael Karlsson by 0.230 seconds.

Karlsson’s Brink Motorsport team-mates Jimmy Eriksson and Tobias Brink, who topped the first test, followed in positions three and four.

Alexander Graff was once again fastest of the Exion Racing drivers, putting his Volkswagen ID.3 in fifth position, just below six tenths from the top time.

PWR Racing’s Axel Bengtsson was sixth fastest ahead of two STCC returnees in the form of Linus Ohlsson (BMW) and Mikael Bern (BMW) in positions seven and eight.

Exion Racing’s Jonathan Engström, who finished eleventh, suffered front bodywork damage during the test, spreading carbon fibre on the main straight which caused a brief yellow flag period.

Next up is qualifying, starting at 16:30 CEST with a dry track expected.
