Fabio Casagrande confirms Squadra Martino return

Fabio Casagrande will return to the TCR South America grid in 2024 after signing an extended del with the Squadra Martino team.

Casagrande will continue at the wheel of a Honda Civic Type R as he bids to challenge for the Trophy Cup crown for a third successive season.

The Brazilian also has one overall win, which came in 2022 when he teamed with Esteban Guerrieri for the endurance race at Termas de Rio.

“I am very happy to confirm my participation in the 2024 season of both TCR South America and TCR Brazil,” he said. “I debuted in the first season of the category, in 2021, and I will continue in it for another year.

“It’s a category that’s growing a lot, with a fantastic level of organisation and where I feel at home. I am also very happy to be part of the Squadra Martino team of drivers, a team that I often say is my Argentine family.

“With them, I got the runner-up and I was a South American two-time champion in the Trophy Cup. This year we’re going for more.”
