RaceGroup adds third Honda for Malte Ebdrup

RaceGroup has confirmed a third Honda for 17-year-old Malte Ebdrup in the 2024 TCR Denmark series season, driving alongside already confirmed team-mates Kasper Jensen and Gustav Birch.

“It has been hectic and hard work. We are extremely happy and proud of this deal and look forward to showing Malte’s obvious talent in the TCR class,” said team owner Christian Jensen.

“It will certainly be a bit of an adjustment for him to go from Super 2L and directly to TCR, but with experienced guidance from people like Kasper Jensen, we are sure that he will probably succeed.”

Ebdrup made his racing debut last year and finished second overall in the 2023 Danish Super 2L Class.

The young Dane will race an older Honda Civic Type R TCR FK7 while his team-mates will drive the new FL5 model.

Racegroup ApS acquired the assets of GMB Motorsport earlier this year following financial issues for the latter company.
