Matías Rossi joins Toyota Team Argentina in TCR South America

Matías Rossi is going to join Toyota Team Argentina for the 2024 TCR South America season, driving a Toyota Corolla TCR.

“I’m very happy to be able to announce my entry into TCR South America,” said Rossi.

The multiple Argentinian champion, who raced in the Turismo Carretera Argentina and Stock Car Pro Series last year, will make his TCR South America debut but is no stranger to the Corolla TCR.

“For me it is very important to be able to compete in an international level category and with drivers of different nationalities,” said Rossi.

“I’m grateful to Darío Ramonda for the opportunity and to the entire team. I know the car from having done part of the development with Toyota Argentina at the time and I think that will be important to shorten the stage of my adaptation to the car and in the work with the setup of the Corolla.

“The objective will be to fight for races and reach the end with clear chances of winning the championship.”
