Capture Motorsport to run Gen 1 Volkswagen entry

Capture Motorsport will return to TCR UK this season with an entry into the new Gen 1 Cup for team owner Will Beech.

Beech will drive the Volkswagen Golf GTi TCR last raced in the series by Jack Depper in 2022, with Beech making his TCR UK debut.

“After racing in Endurance events for the last few seasons, I decided that I needed a new challenge and a change,” he said. “So, for 2024 I’ve decided to enter TCR UK with the Golf and take on the challenge of sprint racing.

“The championship has moved on a lot since Capture Motorsport were last involved and it’s great to see TCR UK with such a competitive field as the organisers take the next steps forward.

“I can’t wait to get out there and show off the Golf in its new colours!”

The team could also run a pair of Cupra TCRs in the series if drivers can be found.
