Michele Imberti makes Elantra move

Michele Imberti has confirmed that he will return to the TCR Italy grid for a fifth successive season in 2024.

Imberti appeared on the grid for the first time back in 2020 in an Elite Motorsport-run Cupra Leon, scoring a best finish of fourth on his way to seventh in the standings.

Moving up into a León Competición TCR the following season, Imberti again scored seventh in the points having picked up a brace of podium finishes before switching into a CRM Racing Hyundai i30 N in 2022.

Imberti scored a best championship finish of fourth last season, which included a win at Misano.

This year, he will move up to a Hyundai Elantra N TCR being run by his own Kombat Racing squad.
