CUPRA confirms 50% of planned Leon VZ TCR production booked
CUPRA Racing will launch the updated CUPRA Leon VZ TCR this year for customer teams around the world and the Spanish manufacturer has confirmed half of the planned production already being booked.
“On the ninth of November we opened the order process for the CUPRA Leon VZ TCR, our new racing car, which we equipped with the new design language for customer racing,” said Xavi Serra, Head of CUPRA Racing.
“With it, we will continue to support the teams that trust us with the best tools, as this model will also be a step forward in terms of performance. We are very happy with the way it has been received by our customers and the figures speak for themselves, as more than 50% of the planned production has already been booked.”
The new Leon VZ TCR, which was unveiled in November, will feature new bodywork, a gearbox upgrade kit, a redesigned front-suspension and more.
CUPRA Racing is yet to confirm the exact number of cars that will be produced in 2024.
