TCR Germany relaunched for 2024 season
TCR Germany is to be relaunched as a standalone series for the 2024 season, with a six-event calendar having been announced.
The series will feature three events on German soil along with three in neighbouring countries, with those three being run alongside TCR Eastern Europe.
The German meetings will all be part of ADAC Racing Weekends events.
Franz Engstler will take up the role of promoter.
“We aim to go back to the basics,” he said. “This means, affordable motorsport for drivers and teams as well as thrilling racing with a variety of car brands and maximum accessibility.”
In 2023, TCR Germany ran as a class in the Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy after a fall in grid numbers.
