Josh Buchan heads Santiago Urrutia in Sydney warm up

Josh Buchan of HMO Customer Racing put his Hyundai on top during the first and short warm up session of the joint TCR World Tour and TCR Australia weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Santiago Urrutia was fastest of the TCR World Tour drivers in second place, just 0.0936 seconds slower than Buchan.

The Uruguayan driver headed two of his Cyan Racing team-mates with Yann Ehrlacher in third and Ma Qing Hua in fourth.

Brad Harris was second fastest of the TCR Australia drivers in fifth place overall, 0.7079 seconds from the top time.

Reigning TCR Australia champion Tony D’Alberto (Honda) claimed sixth for Wall Racing ahead of Comtoyou Racing’s Rob Huff (Audi) while Will Brown (Audi) rounded off the top eight for Melbourne Performance Centre.

Next up is the first free practice session, starting at 13:20 local time/03:20 CET.
