Kasper Jensen continues dominance with fourth consecutive pole

Kasper Jensen put his Honda Civic Type R TCR on pole position for a fourth consecutive time during qualifying for the first TCR Denmark race of the weekend at Padborg Park.

The Dane lapped the circuit in 1:01.983, beating Michael Markussen (Cupra) by close to two tenths of a second.

Green Development driver Nicolai Sylvest was third fastest ahead of Jensen’s GMB Motorsport team-mate Gustav Birch in fourth, just below three tenths from pole.

Kevin Brandsborg put his Honda in fifth position ahead of a disappointed Jan Magnussen (Auto Lounge Racing) who could only manage sixth, 0.633 seconds from title rival Jensen, complaining about the balance of his Cupra.

The first race of the weekend starts at 13:00 CEST on Saturday.
