Lisheng Sports to promote TCR China, TCR Asia in multi-year deal
Lisheng Sports will act as the promoter of both TCR China and TCR Asia in a multi-year partnership agreed with WSC Group – the company behind the TCR format.
“We are very pleased for the renewal of the agreement between WSC Group and Lisheng Sports for the promotion of TCR Asia and TCR China series. This five-year extension ensures a long and bright future to both championships that are already benefiting from an increasing interest from drivers and teams of the regions,” said WSC president Marcello Lotti.
The deal – running through to 2028 – means Lisheng Sports will continue to be the sole and exclusive operator and promoter of TCR in the Asian market, with the exception of Japan and the Middle East region.
The previous agreement began back in 2017, with the extension being confirmed ahead of the opening rounds of the new TCR China season.
TCR Asia and TCR China will continue to work alongside CTCC – which Lisheng also promotes – with hopes that the easing of travel restrictions will provide an opportunity to boost grid numbers during the year ahead.

The Z-Speed Racing team with the Hyundai Elantra, MG Xpower squad and two teams running the new Honda Civic FL5 – Dongfeng Honda Racing Team and Spark Racing – are amongst those set to feature on the TCR China grid alongside the Hyundai N Team.
