Ronan Pearson loses maiden BTCC podium
Ronan Pearson has lost his maiden BTCC podium finish after being excluded from the second race of the weekend at Donington Park.
The EXCELR8 driver had taken the flag in third place after an impressive drive in wet conditions, having been one of the drivers to make the switch to wet tyres before the start.
However, the Scot was found to have failed the ride height test post race which resulted in his car being excluded and promotes Sam Osborne onto the podium for the first time.
Dan Cammish will now start the reverse grid third race from pole.
