Michele Imberti extends CRM Motorsport deal

Michele Imberti will return to the TCR Italy grid for 2023 after signing a new deal with CRM Motorsport.

Imberti won the DSG Trophy in the series back in 2020 before moving up into the main championship the following year – finishing seventh overall at the wheel of an Élite Motorsport-run Cupra.

Moving over to CRM last year, Imberti took ninth in the standings and picked up a maiden overall win at Misano.

“I was so pleased with the support I received from the team last year, that I decided to stay with them for another season,” he said.

“We have put together a very good package that make me confident we will be in the position of claiming some good results. This is my third year in the championship and I’ll be aiming to fight for the top positions.”
