Pau replaces Red Bull Ring in amended 2023 TCR Europe calendar

The Pau street circuit will replace the Red Bull Ring round in an amended 2023 TCR Europe calendar.

“I hope the whole TCR Europe family will enjoy the atmosphere of racing on the street circuit of Pau,” said TCR Europe promoter Paulo Ferreira.

“Personally, I love this type of event, especially for Touring Cars. TCR racing is a show that deserves to be seen by as wide an audience as possible and so we welcome the opportunity to bring the show to the fans. Our drivers deserve this opportunity to race at such an iconic venue.”

The Pau Grand Prix event will be held on May 12-14, while the Red Bull Ring round was scheduled for September 8-10.

The changes does not affect the TCR World Tour calendar, which will join TCR Europe for three events, Portimão, Spa and Hungaroring.
