TRADIE-backed entry completes Tickford reveals
Tickford Racing has revealed the TRADIE-backed Ford Mustang that Declan Fraser will campaign in his rookie Supercars season.
The Super2 champion steps up to the main game this season as part of the four-strong Tickford line-up alongside Cam Waters, James Courtney and Thomas Randle.
Fraser was due to sample the car for the first time in anger this week after a shakedown at Winton, but has been forced to stand down due to illness.
“I kind of can’t believe it, it’s all starting to feel real now,” Fraser said.
“It’s been a crazy time these last couple of months, coming off the back of winning the Super2 championship, to signing with Tickford Racing, and looking ahead to my first full-time season in the main game, it’s a really exciting time.
“It’s going to be a massive learning curve for myself as a driver but the car looks awesome and the team’s done an amazing job building the cars over the last few months.
“I can’t wait to get out on track and represent the TRADIE brand and the Tickford team, and hopefully we can put together a really successful year.”
