Raphael Reis and Ignacio Montenegro joins FIA Motorsport Games grid

Raphael Reis and Ignacio Montenegro will join the touring car category grid of the 2022 FIA Motorsport Games which will be held at Paul Ricard on October 26-30.

Reis, who races for W2 ProGP in TCR South America this year, will represent Brazil in the event, driving a Cupra León Competición.

“I am very motivated to compete in the FIA Motorsport Games while representing Brazil, especially to drive a car with the same technical regulations as I race in TCR South America,” said Reis.

Montenegro, who drives for Cobra Racing Team in TCR South America this year, will represent Argentina while driving a Honda Civic Type R TCR.

“I am very pleased with this opportunity to participate in the FIA Motorsport Games and I want to thank the entire TCR South America for the help they gave me. It will be a unique opportunity to represent Argentina and I will do my best to take home the gold medal,” said Montenegro.

The duo brings the so far confirmed number of drivers in the touring car category up to five alongside Gabriel Lusquiños (Switzerland), Gilles Magnus (Belgium) and Aaron Cameron (Australia).
