Kasper Jensen beats Mike Halder to Jyllandsringen pole position
Kasper Jensen beat title rival Mike Halder to the TCR Denmark pole position at Jyllandsringen with a margin of two tenths over his Honda colleague.
The session was held in dry conditions in bright contrast to yesterday’s torrential rain during practice at the Danish circuit.
Nicolai Sylvest, who topped the Q1 session, put his Cupra León Competición in third place on the grid, just over seven tenths of a second from pole.
Jensen’s GMB Motorsport team-mate Gustav Birch was fourth fastest and the last driver within one second of the pole position time.
Michael Markussen (Cupra) was fifth fastest ahead of Audi RS 3 LMS driver Rene Povlsen who rounded off the top six.
The first race of the weekend starts at 11:45 CEST today.
